The main square Piazza Garibaldi is the heart of the town, dominated by the statue of Garibaldi, and surrounded by elegant historic buildings. It’s perfect for a stroll or for enjoying a coffee in one of the outdoor cafés. The Church of Santa Maria del Mercato, dating back to the 14th century, is an example of Lombard Gothic with frescoes and a fine wooden ceiling. Not far away, the Church of Sant'Andrea boasts a Romanesque bell tower and artworks that tell the long religious history of the area. The Castello Oldofredi, a medieval fortress, and the Palazzo dell'Arsenale, the ancient arsenal of the Republic of Venice, now host exhibitions and events.

The NAQUANE ROCK ENGRAVINGS NATIONAL PARK, located in Capo di Ponte in Val Camonica, is one of the most significant archaeological sites in the world for its extraordinary collection of prehistoric rock engravings. These engravings, dating back from the Neolithic to the Iron Age, depict scenes of daily life, rituals, animals, human figures and abstract symbols, offering a unique window into the culture and beliefs of the ancient Camunian populations.
