LAKE ISEO AND MONTE
ISOLA
The territory has the characteristics of an environment straddling the lake and the hill. Lake Iseo is wedged between the provinces of Bergamo and Brescia and is home to the highest lake island in Europe: Monte Isola, which is satellites to the north and south of the two islets of Loreto and San Paolo.
LA RISERVA NATURALE
"LE TORBIERE"
The Torbiere del Sebino are located on the southern shore of the lake a few steps from Iseo and extend for an area of about 350 hectares. This area composed mainly of reeds and bodies of water surrounded by cultivated fields offers the opportunity to take beautiful walks.
ANTICA STRADA VALERIANA
The Antica Strada Valeriana (CAI trail 291), a foothill path of uncertain origin, has for millennia been an essential route to the Camonica Valley and has been fully restored. The route, which stretches for about 24 kilometers, starts at Pilzone d'Iseo and ends at Pisogne. Today, it offers a fascinating combination of landscape, art, and history.
BRESCIA AND BERGAMO
Bergamo and Brescia combine history, art, and culture in a landscape rich in natural beauty and extraordinary architecture. While Bergamo fascinates with its medieval Upper Town and ancient Venetian walls, Brescia enchants with its Roman heritage and Renaissance treasures.
